WHAT IS CHRISTKINDLMARKET DES MOINES (CDM)?

It’s a family-friendly event featuring a unique shopping experience for gifts and holiday decor along with authentic German and European cuisine, holiday beverages, live entertainment and children’s activities.

Following tradition, this event is held outdoors with the addition of a heated entertainment tent and various covered areas for shopping and eating.

The 2023, total CDM attendance was 80,000 with 20,000 average daily visitors.

For 2024, CDM will be held on: Dec 5: 5 – 9 pm, Dec 6: 11am – 9pm; Dec 7: 11am – 9pm; Dec 8: 11am – 5pm.

Yuletide Hall After Hours: Friday & Saturday from 9pm – 10pm

For 2024, CDM will have 44 vendors (20 food, 24 nonfood) selling from wooden stalls, demonstration tents, food trucks and trailers.
