With the production of Christkindlmarket Des Moines, we hope to show attendees how the items they purchase are made. To that end, we have six vendors who will also be demonstrating their craft. We hope you’re inspired!

Dakota Tinworks is a family-owned business dedicated to making and selling traditional tinware, ornaments, and other Christmas-themed decorations in tin, copper, and brass, hand-made exclusively in South Dakota by master tinsmith Karl-Josef Schmidt.

A local, women-owned business specializing in handcrafted yarn and fiber-focused gifts made from locally sourced materials. Visit our space to see live weaving demonstrations, learn about natural fibers, and support small-scale farmers!

Offering: Hand-dyed and naturally-colored yarn spun at Twisted Sunset Sisters Fiber Mill, handmade 100% alpaca dryer balls, felted soap bars, handwoven rugs and towels, handmade ornaments, hand cranked socks, and wool pellets for gardening (made at our mill).
