KinderKorner

The KinderKorner is an area at Christkindlmarket Des Moines that is dedicated to our younger attendees. We will be offering various activities, demonstrations and information about European cultures, languages, and traditions for kids and their families. Please fill out this form and let us know how you would like to contribute to our KinderKorner! You need not be present during the entire 3-day weekend.

Some examples of possible contributions:  storytelling with an emphasis on a European culture or tradition, or in a European language; a cultural activity for kids- making a traditional craft; musical performances, with interaction, teaching kids a traditional European song or dance; demonstrations; information to take home and read, etc.

Groups are responsible for supplying any materials necessary for their KinderKorner activity. Feel free to be creative! This is our first year and we are looking forward to creating this learning area! If you have any questions, contact [email protected].
