Nonprofit Tree Silent Auction

As part of CDM’s community outreach, we encourage local nonprofits to decorate a tree that will be displayed during the first weekend of CDM. As patron’s visit the market and marvel over the creativity of each tree, they are able to bid via Silent Auction and take home the tree with all the trimmings on Sunday, December 7th. All proceeds will go directly back to the participating nonprofits.

Outdoor Cultural Stage

The Outdoor Cultural Stage will provide an outlet for Iowa-based European Cultural Heritage Organization (501c3) Members and other organizations to present 15- to 25-minute-long programs that connect our festival attendees with European cultural heritage and traditions. Programs may include oral traditions (folk/traditional storytelling), folk/traditional crafts and visual arts and folk/traditional music.

Kinderkorner Application

If you’re new to CDM, KinderKorner is the free activity area at the Festival. Throughout the weekend we offer fun and educational activities for visitors of all ages. We ask that any interested organization have a representative that can be on site for a minimum of two hours during their selected time.
