Christkindlmarket Des Moines has expanded to 2 weekends in 2025. Here’s a few highlights of what is happening the second weekend, Dec 11 – 14, 2025 at Principal Park.

Thu, Dec 11, 5pm – 9pm (Kinderkorner​ closes at 8pm)
Fri, Dec 12, 11am – 9pm (Kinderkorner  closes at 8pm)
Sat, Dec 13, 11am – 9pm (Kinderkorner​ closes at 8pm)
Sun, Dec 14, 11am – 5pm

Breakfast with St Nick

Saturday, December 13, 2025, 10:30am – 11:30am

Stop by to get your picture taken with St. Nick and grab a make and take children’s activity.

Saturday, December 13th: 2pm – 4pm

Can I pickup the garland I purchased at $40 for 25 ft, at 6pm on Sunday evening? I saw the market closes at 5pm, and the day’s temp for Sunday is 7 degrees and will be colder come evening.

    Pick up for garland is between 7pm and 8:30pm. Our operations team needs time to get the garland ready since it is being used at the festival.

The Saturday forecast calls for bitterly cold temperatures. Will this impact the Christkindlmarket in any way (eg reduced hours, some vendors not present, etc.)?

Where is the promotion of the Christmas trees for auction? I’d like to bid and don’t see the link.
