Several people were the first to view Christkindlmarket Des Moines’ 2018 Glühwein mug design at Jasper Winery on Tuesday, April 17.

They sipped the signature drink (warm mulled wine) while shopping a mini market featuring foods and handcrafted items from Christkindlmarket Des Moines 2018 vendors. The first 25 attendees to donate $25 (or more) to guarantee their 2018 mug received a goody bag. Make your donation today!

We had a great time working with Confluence Brewing Company to create our very own Christkindlmarket Des Moines beer called St. Nick’s Christkindlbier.

We’ll be tapping a furkin keg at Christkindlmarket Des Moines on December 1 at noon on our outdoor stage. Be one of the first to try this spiced beer just in time for the holidays!

European Cultural Heritage “Meet-Up”

Enjoy the fellowship of a diverse group of European Cultural Heritage Organizations for a “Meet-Up” at Christkindlmarket Des Moines 2017. Meet in Yuletide Hall (an outdoor, forced-air heated entertainment tent) as you sip on Glühwein, enjoy a seasonal craft beer or nosh on sausages from Curbin’ Cuisine.

Represent the European culture you most identify with to the Des Moines community with your traditional attire, beer steins, and Glühwein mugs as you get to know members of other cultural heritage organizations in Central Iowa, such as Stammtisch – Des Moines German Club, Danish Brotherhood Lodge #15, Des Moines, IA, Clan Henderson, The Scottish Society Council, Marsteinen Lodge-Sons of Norway and Alliance Française.
